Barker’s Managing Director and Chair of Trustees for MyTime, Matt Barker, recently joined the rest of the MyTime team to get into the festive spirit.

MYTime provides young carers with a break at its outdoor centre in Worth Matravers, Dorset.

It’s an opportunity for young carers to have fun, make friends and to take some time for themselves.

Krista Cartlidge, MYTime Executive Director, said: “It’s a really valuable opportunity for young carers to meet other people who share some of their experiences.

“This can help to combat the loneliness young carers report feeling as a result of their caring responsibilities.

There are currently an estimated 800,000 young carers in the UK, some as young as five.
